On Tuesday morning one of the worst imaginable events happened to my 13 year old son Noah. He was crossing the street to get to his bus stop at 6:25 am in the dark and was run over by a 24 foot flatbed truck carrying a load of cement. My 11 year old son Benjamin was there with him and came home in a panic and told me that Noah had been run over by a truck. I couldnt breathe or move. Thankfully my best friend was with me and he sprung into action and ran across the busy street with no shoes. I have a torn acl in my knee and didnt have my brace on and had to hobble to the scene. I had no idea what to expect. Thankfully, he is alive and shoud be ok. He had surgery on his right leg broke his leg right in half he now has a plate and screws. We are still hoping for the best with his injury to his head when he fell. They are thinking a concussion and we are hoping that is what it is. We are only 36 hours out of surgery and he is doing amazingly well considering what he had been through! Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers! I am so grateful for my boys and my best friends who have been here for us. Love you all to pieces!!! xoxo
