On Wednesday June 4, 2014 the policing family around the world were saddened by the tragedy that occurred while on-duty in Moncton New Brunswick. There are no words to express how deeply sorry we are for the losses of RCMP Constable Fabrice Gevaudan, age 45, from Boulogne-Billancourt France, RCMP Constable Douglas Larche, age 40 from Saint John New Brunswick and RCMP Constable David Ross, age 32, from Victoriaville Quebec. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families, friends and colleagues of the RCMP who are no doubt consumed by the extent of their loss. Members who prepare for and ultimately make this supreme sacrifice will never be forgotten. For those wishing to send their condolences, an email account has been activated at [email protected] Our thoughts are with RCMP Constable Darlene Goguen and RCMP Constable Eric Dubois who are recovering from their injuries. Sadly we have lost three heroes, killed in the line of duty, serving and protecting all Canadians. Further details will be communicated to all members once they are available.
