On Wednesday, Sept 4, 2013 photo enforcement will be monitoring the following areas: 2nd Street Playground, Connaught School, Central Park Playground, St. Patrick’s School/Playground and Gershaw. Photo enforcement will also be monitoring other school/playground and urban areas within the City of Medicine Hat. School zones are in effect from 8:00am – 9:30am, 11:30am – 1:30pm and 3:00pm – 4:30pm. However, most school zones in Medicine Hat are also considered playground zones where 30km/h speed limits are in effect from 8:30am until 1 hour after sunset.
