On Wednesday, we had a special visit from Dr. Bukhosi Dube who is a major supporter of Portland After-School Tennis & Education. His journey is an inspiration to the Scholar Athletes. Dr. Dubes path to becoming a successful physician began in Zimbabwe. From there, he moved to the United States. He went to school in Texas, Utah, and California before moving to Oregon. Throughout his journey, Bukhosi has received many awards and scholarships for his success in academics and medicine. Dr. Dube is a blessing to the people of Portland and beyond. Along with being a successful hospitalist, he volunteers his time at the Union Gospel Misison in Portland and Salem Free Clinics. Thank you Dr. Dube for all of your hard work and compassion!
