On Yom Teruah, Yahweh commands us to celebrate it with the blowing of the shofar. If you dont have one to blow, you can listen to it being blown. Not only is this a physical thing to do (blow or listen to it being blown), but it has a spiritual application which is to wake up spiritually. The shofar blowing on this day is a call for each of us to repentance. It is an alarm sounded that the LORD will judge us one day. The judgment day is rehearsed each year on Yom Kippur, which is 10 days after Yom Teruah. So, this is a time for us to repent and return back to the LORD - to ask forgiveness of our sins (the breaking of his Torah) and to return to doing his Torah. Holy Father, forgive us of our sins and help us to truly return to you. Help us to walk in your paths of righteousness. Your word is a lamp to our feet and a light unto our path. It is the light that shows us the way to walk. You have told us this way is in your commandments. So Yahweh, help us to learn your Torah (instruction) and to do them so that we might have life - blessings and not curses. In Yeshuas name we pray, Amen! by:
