On a plane headed to Detroit for a minute before heading to Cleveland. Feel like my world is upside down-dozing on and off. Listen- I know Im always preaching to get along with your kids father or mother -but maybe we should all get one day just to purge . You know all those days where you worry & stress -and the other parent is living their life. And then they do the swoop where they come in & be the fun one. And then you get told to relax :) oh- yes- I should listen because they are experts at it. Well-there is no relax in my mom world -there is just work, dedication, stress, worry, teaching, loving and fighting battles to raise a great child. I didnt sign up as a hobby parent - Im a mom 365 days a year -24/7 and if one more person tells me hes 16 let him go - yeah, Im pretty sure Im still going to be mom when hes 96 if I live that long. Stay strong single parents- & go scream in a closet -you have my permission:)
