On an ordinary day, my boss merely expects me to do whatever it is Im trying to do without breaking anything that costs more than ten thousand dollars or seriously injuring myself. On a day when hes in an exceptional mood, Im engaged in a conversation right before I leave work that begins, So Lindsay, Im going to throw some mutants at you and ends with what sounds like a casual request that I learn to perform magic. Too bad Advanced Applied Magic isnt offered til fall semester.
