On behalf of Compass K9 and A.S.I Ltd, I would like to extend an apology to all the people and companies in the chain subbing for the sites we have who were under the impression they were going to be working shifts for us. We were unaware our jobs had been subbed out at least 3 times until we had a car of three lads come to relieve us at handover. It transpires Lee Mondo Major who has advertised on numerous Facebook sites (although he claims he never has and it wasn’t him it was his own guys trying to get one of their shifts covered) claimed our jobs were his. This is categorically a lie. When he recently spoke to us he claimed himself and his sister and a mate would be working for us pending vetting. We do not sub into chains, in fact that is what we despise about the industry, we believe the guards should have the money in their pockets not the SIPs (Security Industry Parasites). Having made enquiries, Lee (top SIP) has put other companies of good lads out of pocket, both with travelling expenses and accommodation costs to the tune of nearly £500 – which they will not be recouping from us as we hadn’t a clue until they arrived on site that they were even involved – then with some research the chain links connected. We do not pay National Minimum Wage which, after Lee Major took his cut and subbed it out would have been what the poor guard would have ended up with on flat rate on bank holidays, especially Christmas Day where along the chain £126 would have been stolen from the guards wage packet for the day. I will not have my Companies bought into disrepute unknowingly, especially by a lying SIP such as Lee. Therefore if you have been promised work in Nottinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Hampshire or Northamptonshire by Lee Major then you’ll find you will not be working on one of our sites – Just like Lee himself no longer is. Having just been privy to a conversation where Lee has maintained the guys now out of work whom turned up for a shift never having heard of him are still his guys (yet they had never heard of him) and that he has not advertised our job as his (screenshots provided) I would warn anyone having anything to do with Lee Major of Roman Guard Ltd to check details thoroughly before taking one foot out of the door. Cancers such as Lee are the whole reason the wages are rock bottom in the industry when they should be far higher. Please feel free to tag Lee into this post as I’m not a friend of his and ask him to remove my job details he advertises as his own from security sites and his own page including the site postcodes before I turn up at his address in st Leonards and show him how really angry I am!
