On behalf of His Excellency Interior Minister Lieutenant-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Chief of Public Security, Major-General Tariq Al Hassan attended a graduation of the new batch of Special Security Forces cadets on Thursday. He was received by Commander of Special Security Forces and senior officers.The Chief expressed thanks, appreciation and loyalty to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, Prime Minister and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister for their ongoing support to the security authorities to reinforce their security protection role.The Chief said that the special security forces has been given the utmost care of HE Interior Minister through his wise directives to continue with the development and modernization programs, expressing thanks to the forces of officers, commissioned officers and policemen for their sincere efforts in performing duties in competency and high readiness.HE asserted that the special security forces represent the title of sacrifice in facing those who jeopardize the security of the nation and the strong arm to face terrorism, vandalism and rioting through swift interference to restore general order. He said that the coming phase will witness further development in supporting the forces to enhance capabilities to fulfill assigned tasks. He added that the forces have witnessed in the last ten years a turning point in term of the number of personnel, equipments, training and high readiness, as they are capable of facing security challenges. At the end of his speech, he hailed the high level training, the cadets received and their high spirit, discipline and capability to perform duties.The Commander of Special Security Forces delivered a speech, in which he hailed ongoing directives and support the forces receive from HE Interior Minister and the Chief, highlighting readiness to fulfill duties in the best manner to protect national achievements.The graduates demonstrated learnt skills through exercises before reciting the oath, while at the end of the ceremony the Chief honored top cadets and distributed certificates. He wished them all the best.
