On many social media platforms, theres so much unnecessary hatred directed at me, and others like me, merely because we have Arabic/Persian names. Majority of the commentators on various social-media platforms think of me, at least, as a sympathizer, if not a recruiter or a fighter, of some terrorists organization. Even we, the common struggling and law-abiding people, have become global pariahs, for no fault of our own. The biggest crime seems to have been born in a so-called Islamic country and in a family that believes in Allah, and not God or Adonai/Elohei . I completely realize that a lot of the global mess is because of people of our broad faith, but then which faith or which racial group or nation or any other identity group has not committed terrorism against others at one point or the other? Feeling depressed.
