On one hand we have the right of an individual to be armed. On the other, we have a weapon that allows for people to kill others with minimum effort. Yes, I understand that ages ago only the kings soldiers had swords and the peasants were oppressed by weapon wielding enforcers, but surely, surely somethings got to give. Especially now that killing masses of people is as easy as squeezing a trigger finger. Theres a middle-ground somewhere that were yet to figure out.
