On reading Jeet Bahadurs story, I instantly remembered Basu Rai who was rescued by Bachpan Bachao Andolan. This isnt the only story of personal humanism associated with Narendra Modi. People saw his nomination papers for election being approved by a humble tea seller. What few know is that the man who serves tea at the chief ministers office in Gujarat was a boy from Modis village Vadnagar whom he brought to Gandhinagar to offer the poor chap and his family a better life.
