On that same note, here is a blog post I wrote from my first workout after this baby was born. I remember feeling embarrassed that I couldnt run very fast, that I couldnt lift the same weights, or even do one push-up. I remember feeling discouraged because none of my workout clothes fit me, and I kept uncomfortably pulling my shirt down over my hips as I walked to the treadmill in the back of the room. I almost walked out of the gym before I even got started because of all the negative self talk I had. But, then I slowly reminded myself that I can feel uncomfortable and self-conscious now, or I can feel uncomfortable and self-conscious three months from now, but you always have to have a starting point and the sooner I start the sooner I will stop feeling uncomfortable and self-conscious.
