On the 29th of March of 2014 there will be a demostration on the occasion of the trial of the 20 defendants for the protests called by the 15M “paremos el parlamento” (Stop the Parlament), that took place in Barcelona the 15th of June 2011. Marea Granate Brighton and Brighton Solfed will be there in support to 20 defendants This is a political trial, since there was no real damage caused to the politicians, and yet the detainees were sentenced severely with 8 years. The prosecutor of the National Audencia Teresa Sandoval requested five years and a half in jail for the defendants, alleging that they provoked “a well-founded fear in the security” of the deputies that intended to enter the camera.
