** On the Brain ** When I entered this Fight to Save Our Youth, I had Absolutely No Idea that it would affect My Life on So Many Different Levels. My plan was to come in and do some events and parties to help keep the youth off the streets. Well, 2 1/2 years in and I find myself Sacrificing Sleep, Food, My Larger Apartment, Fun Time, Personal Money and Much More..... I just spent the past 2 weeks smothered in Paperwork trying to get more funding from the State. As I wrap up this envelope right now and head to the post office to overnight it, I just asked myself, Is it all worth it.?? :( I beg, plead and fight for a community that doesnt want to support the people and organizations fighting for it, but will drop endless money into Donating to a Family for a Funeral of a Child or Loved One.... I Cram to Understand How People can Donate to BURY a Child but Will NOT Donate to Help Keep A Child Alive.!! (scratching my head) Too Many People want EVERYTHING for FREE.... I see people on my profile that will be in the Club or Nightlife 3 Days per Week, but will tell me they Need a SPONSOR for their child for Kickball or Great Adventures.!! o_O I dont put anyone out there and I dont speak on anyones personal business, Im speaking in GENERAL and if it Offends You then Maybe its time to Look at Yourself and Your Priorities.!! My Blood, Sweat, Tears and Money can Only Do So Much on its own.!! I have asked local businesses for help and I cant understand for the LIFE of Me, Why They Wont Help When This Very Same Community is the Ones Keeping Their Business Open.!! WHY WHY WHY .... And I Know People Continue to say things like Redd, God is Gonna Bless You ... But Im NOT Looking for Personal Blessings, Please Understand ----> Especially Those Who KNOW My Story..... God Has ALREADY Blessed Me.!! My Testimony is Spectacularly Filled with Blessings from God.!! Think of it Like This... God is Using ME Now to Help the Youth AVOID the Path I have Already Walked.... Today, I Dont Ask for Your Money... I Simply Ask for YOUR PRAYERS.!! Pray That God Blesses SOY to Continue its GREAT Work for the Community and the Youth, Pray for Financial Stability for the Organization, Pray for My Creativity to Continue Creating Great Things for the Youth, Pray for My Staff and Future Staff, Pray for the City and Most Importantly ASK GOD to REMAIN In Control of EVERYTHING at the Save Our Youth-Headquarters.!!
