On the Day of Judgement, the sun would draw so close to the people that there would be only a distance of one mile.People will be submerged in their sweat according to their deeds-some up to the ankles,some up to their knees,some up to their waist and others up to their mouth.On that Day,these seven types of people will be under Allahs Shade Insha Allah. We will try to explain each type in detail every day so that we may be able to understand well and try to be one of them Insha Allah. 1. A Just Ruler- Many scholars state that the phrase of a Just Ruler doesnt apply only to a King or Leader of people, but to all those who have any kind of authority over people; to any person that is in a higher position over some one else or has subordinates under him. This could be a Boss at an office, a Teacher at school, a Man who is the head of the family and so on. Justice means to give each the right he deserves: Muslim or non-Muslim, relative or stranger, friend or enemy. Allah says- ...And do not let hatred cause you to act unjustly, that is nearer to piety [Surah al-Maidah (5):8]. Unfortunately, even if we admit this in theory, we quickly forget it in practice.When we speak about our loved ones, we praise them beyond reason and when we speak about those whom we hold difference with, we can find no good in them and we just focus on their bad points. This is far removed from the justice which Allah loves and gives great reward for. Insha Allah we should try to put this point in practice and be unbiased and just towards everyone.
