On the accursed land of Ibadan, there I sat down and wept; and I remembered Masculinism. In hospitals there, I hung up my pen. For in Ibadan, our captors required of our lives, offerings, along with revelry; and our tormentors of our souls, sacrifice, along with live entertainment; saying, I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil, my desire shall have its fill of them. I will draw my sword, my hand shall destroy them. How shall we speak GODs word on an accursed ground? If I forget you, O Masculinism, let my right hand wither! Let my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth, if I do not remember you - if I do not set Machismo Renaissance above my highest joy! Remember, O LORD, against this generation the day of Masculinism; how they said, Rase it, rase it! Down to its foundations! Alegongo-Akobo, O son of Satan, thou devastator! Happy shall he be who requites you with what you have done to us! Happy shall he be who takes your little ones and dashes them against the rock!
