On the eve of Tommy 5th birthday tomorrow, we are at a juvenile arthritis ball tonight. Four years ago, Tommy had already shown the symptoms of his arthritis and since then, he has been our superstar throughout all the medical appointments, surgeries and treatments. He is doing so well now (thanks to the medication he takes) and Im so proud of him. I thought the attached article was a thought provoking read, especially as Tommy was that crippled little boy who couldnt walk and had the swollen joints and until very recently, was at risk of losing his sight as the medicines werent working. We are so grateful for modern medicine, scientists researching arthritis, our specialists and everyones support throughout!! Xxx
