On the first of July came the news that my Grandmother had had another stroke, this time completely taking her speech. My Grandma is the strongest lady I know, she has been put to the test on so many occasions over the last few years and at 90 years of age she still lives with the stubbornness to not let things win. Eagerly waiting for news, I received a call from my sister. She said Grandmas speech has come back! Fabulous, progress yet again!!!! Yeah, Mum asked her if she wanted to watch the tennis. She loves tennis! To the point you are not allowed to talk if its on!! The first words shes spoken since Tuesday came in the form of this classic answer......Well Nadal wont be playing, cause hes been knocked out! She is far from better or recovered, but she still has life by the scruff of its neck!!
