On the fourth day of Christmas my Personal Trainer instructed me - 5 sets of 10 dead lifts! If there is a movement that I am not already more in love with, its the dead lift! Want a better butt? Stronger, leaner legs? Start picking some weight up! Keep your hips low and focus on moving the weight as one uniform movement; meaning, do NOT have your hips pick up before your back extends (or back extend before your hips extend). I always coach my clients to go with an inverse grip (one overhand and one underhand) for a secure grip and feet hip width apart. Big changes require big weights! Start small, perfect your form and build up from there! Happy lifting!
