On the fourth day of my writing program, allow me to say something - TopicsExpress

On the fourth day of my writing program, allow me to say something more about the community with whom I am living with for two weeks. It is called the Assumptionist Community Center, located here at New England, Worcester, MA, USA . . . a very quiet and classy place. The rooms are well furnished, and the house is complete with facilities like a library, chapel, etc. Most of the priests and brothers living here are retired. They are Fathers living as brothers and friends. Some of the residents live here, while studying or ministering to the Assumption College, a school owned and run by the Assumptionist Fathers. The president and other officers of the school though are mostly lay people hired based on academic qualifications. And the Fathers’ role is supervision and monitoring, seeing to it that the school follows the standard of Catholic education. I will be talking individually about each picture uploaded in this status. By the way, the treasurer of the Asummptionist communities here in Massachusetts is a priest member of the congregation who is a Kapampangan, Fr. Alex Castro. He comes from Apalit and he is responsible for the accommodation accorded to me in this place.
