On the invitation of Ruwan Wijewardene I spoke at a brainstorming type session of a small group of young UNP men and women on youth issues and what our next government will do to solve them. Our MPs Eran and Niroshan also attended. Our WPC members Dr Kavinda Jayawardene, Anuradha Wimalaratne along with SPC contestants Nadeesha Hemamali and Tharaka Nanayakkara along with half a dozen others participated. Thought I should not divulge the names of those who are not directly involved in UNP politics. But the youth group was solid; lawyers, professors, youth activists, university lecturers etc. There is certainly hope for the next generation with this type of young people coming in to the UNP!
