On the left - Susan Stein, my Mother in Law, who passed away in April. On the right, her best friend of over 50 years, Elaine Gadsden, who passed away on Sunday. They travelled, curled, raised children, farmed, and volunteered together for all of those years. Now, they are on one last trip together. This photo was taken when the Olympic torch passed through Cookstown on its way to Vancouver, in December 2009. They were both so excited, and obviously so proud to take part in the celebrations that evening. Thank you Lynn, who Susan always said Was her friend first, for posting this picture. Great memories!
