On the sixth day of Christmas your stylist gives to you... A fun holiday updo with a halo braid! This style is great for day-after curls. You can use our Fifth Day of Christmas tutorial to see how! Step 1 - Shake out already curled hair. Step 2 - Part your hair and use a working hairspray to secure it. Step 3 - Section your hair in a halo shape around your head. Try to keep the outer section an even thickness. Step 4 - Begin your braid! Only add hair to the third of the braid facing outward (dont pick up hair every time you weave the hair). Step 5 - Once youve braided all the way through the outer section, secure the end with a bobby pin. Step 6 - Add a little body to the center section by back combing at the root. Step 7 - Place and pin the curls within the braided perimeter. Get creative! You can twist, add more braids or bigger curls! The options are endless.
