On this Transformation Ambassadors of Nigeria nonsense the Nigerian government is directly or indirectly funding, I just open the Website to even more about the trash and there is this song being played on the website, it is best describe as a campaign song for President Goodluck Jonathan, the lyrics read Goodluck Jonathan gave us houses, roads, water, electricity, good health care and the people of Nigeria now live better and that Goodluck Jonathan should come back for a second term, it even reads the children future is better with Gooodluck Jonathan and that there is no more sufferings for Nigerians. The nonsense even reads further that Goodluck is good for you and I, Goodluck Jonathan is their number one man and he has brought very many beautiful wonderful things. The hypocrisy went further in their list of requirements to become a One Star TAN Ambassador, the main requirement is for you to show proves that you are a Youth Leader and you can mobilise at least 200 people in your electoral ward or Higher Institution, I guess you are expected to deliver those 200 peoples vote for Goodluck Jonathan come 2015. TAN claims it is a NGO it is partnering with the National Orientation Agency, the most embarrassing of it all is one of their aims and objectives which reads To create JOBS to sustain families and spread the gospel of Goodlucks transformation agenda through visible empowerment of the people The group even went further to say they will be creating one million jobs, organise Skills Acquisition Schemes and also grant Microcredits and Scholarship to members. To break it all down, I have heard from peeps that members of TAN will get #50,000 monthly or so. The questions bordering my mind are: 1. Who is sponsoring these TAN of a thing and where is the group getting it`s fund?? 2. Is it not constitutionally wrong and does it not amount to an Electoral offence to start Electoral Campaigns when the ban on Campaigns have not been lifted by the Nations Electoral body (INEC)?? 3. Does this not also amount to buying of votes, which is also another Electoral offence? 4. How come the youths are falling for this deceit in large numbers? What is the end product of the YouWin and SURE-P GIS Initiatives launched and financed by the Presidency earlier? 5. When will this stomach infrastructure-type of politics end in our country and our focus will be shifted to physical infrastructural development, basic amenities provision and developing our economy??? 6. What will happen to this programme after the 2015 Elections? Will they continue to pay you the money they promise you after the Elections have come and gone? I have no problem with President Jonathan contesting for another term in Office, he is a Nigerian and has the choice to exercise his rights and privileges as guaranteed him by the Nigerian constitution, but it is left to we the people of Nigeria to decide our future and 2015 will provide us another good opportunity, it is left for the people to choose what they want, if you feel President Goodluck Jonathan is still the right man for the Nations top job, it is left for you to decide, but as for me, the ideals and idea of President Goodluck Jonathan is far off from what we urgently need at the moment to sustain our country at this very critical moment. So it is left for you to either cater for your stomach and collect the Government #50,000 or how much did they call it and vote for President Goodluck Jonathan or stand up and demand for the kind of Nation you dream about, a nation that will guarantee not only your future but that of our unborn generations. #PEACE
