On this dark, but soon to be sunny Monday morning I am so very grateful: ...for another weekend of fun and frivolity under my belt. All ready for the next weekend. ...for a wallpaper of tropical beach scenes on my computer...ahhh I so want to be there! ...for opposable thumbs. I kind of take them for granted, but life would be REALLY hard without them. Not impossible, but really hard. ...for the outpouring of love and support for Debbie at her benefit. Keep fighting the good fight Deb! ...for hand lotion, the only thing keeping my feet from being sandblasted. ...for my morning cuppa. ...for a brain that seems to work, (despite my checkered past) and allows me to imagine and envision, as well as work out complex issues. ...for my sweet, snuggly, fur bearing sleeping companions. I do so adore my kitties. ...for all the dogs, cats, gerbils, hamsters, rats, turtles, pheasants, rabbits, and assorted fish who I have loved in the past. They all made my life way more full and interesting. ...for enough. Have a marvelous Monday everyone! Todays challenge - Give thanks where thanks is due. Today I want to take the time to say thank You to those who help me out in some way. I will thank the person who serves me food, or the gas station attendant who takes my money. I will thank a co-worker who helps me out, or perhaps I will thank my nephew who has served overseas for his service and sacrifice to our country. I could also thank him (and his wife) for bringing two adorable greats into my life. Come what may, I will take the time and effort to show my gratitude to those who help me out today, because that is the right thing to do. Namaste, and thank YOU.
