On this day 8 years ago I had a big life change. I went from walking to joining the close parking club. I was training for a up coming motocross race. I was chasing a dream of some day being a professional ATV Motocross racer. After multiple x rays ct scans and being asked if I wore a helmet a 100 times, I found out Im paralyzed chest down. But somrthing that was burning inside of me lit up. After that I have been on a mission to achieve every goal I set no matter how big or small. I have met so many great people. Became Canadas first unofficial paraplegic to race motocross, Nova Scotias first para athlete to compete at both summer and winter Canada Games. I have 13 provincial track records to my name, 4 road race course records in NS, Im chasing to compete at the 2016 paralympic games in Rio de Jenario and some day being the best T53 racer on the planet and breaking barriers for para athletes for emdorsements. Im so thankful to have amazing support from my family, friends, my coaching staff, sponsors and my comnunity. Getting injured isnt a death sentence its been blessing I embrace the curveballs life throws at me because I swing for the fences and round the bases. Now its time to get ready for another race and build towards Para Pan Ams and World Championships 2015. Get After It
