On this mornings run I definitely took the time to get at a couple of teenage young men on their way to Westchester High regarding one of the young mens ridiculously sagging pants. I conveyed that I came with respect with no shade but showing ones butt to the world isnt on fleek (Fleek:on point:cool). Further, I conveyed that as I run up hill thats not the view Id like to see. After some laughter from his friend, I said, see yall know Im right and the young man pulled his pants up a good few inches. Not quite at the waist, but it was a start. I closed by saying as a Westchester alumni and as a fellow young black man its my duty to be on them because I want whats best for them as they should as well and sagging to the point where one has to waddle is unacceptable. After a head nod in agreement I told them both to have a great day at school and to be the kings I know they are.
