On this past Sunday, I went up Moscow Mountain (Idaho) to do some scouting for a hiking trip I am planning for this weekend. It was a beautiful afternoon on the mountain and was perfect for hiking. I watched the sun set and waited for the stars to come out. It was quite peaceful, which I needed. :) Before it got too late, I decided it was time to return to the hustle and bustle of school. However, on my way down, I noticed the Milky Way shining bright in the southern sky. Since the moon was due to rise soon, I figured I should get a shot or two while I could. I found a spot on the road that aligned with the Milky Way and snapped a few (and thanks to Alyssa for working the lights on the truck for me). I am pretty happy with the result. It came out pretty good for a quick shot! :)
