On todays 70th anniversary of D Day landings, I would like to remember one person in particular, Ms Noor Enayat Khan, she was British military intelligence operative, a Muslim with great faith. Who on orders was parachuted into occupied France, and was able to transmit back to Britain vital information, that helped in the D day landings, she was eventually captured by the nazis, she was tortured in the coming weeks, albeit she refused to surrender any information, she was eventually executed. The nazis described her at the time as highly dangerous intelligence officer. For her courage, Noor Khan was posthumously awarded the George Cross in 1949. #D_Day
