On tonight’s LIFEBOAT HOUR at 9 PM (Eastern) – It’s crunch time as people all over the world – inspired by the bravery and resilient courage of the Turkish people – show signs of a nascent global awakening. It is far too early to proclaim that the Hundredth Monkey has been found, but serious violent clashes in Sao Paolo and Rio De Janiero, along with massive protests in Bulgaria suggest that human consciousness is realizing that there are no more tomorrows. It really is “do or die” now. In the meantime corporate greed and arrogance, combined with horrendous environmental damage and the blatant criminality of world governments are perhaps helping people to absorb reality. The most important part of that reality rests on the scientific truth that by 2030 all life in the Northern Hemisphere will be extinct as the polar ice cap continues to shrink leading us towards an ice-free pole by the end of summer. It has lost two meters of thickness in just 21 days. The linkage between Tayip Erdogan’s frenzied failure to crush what is now an open rebellion and the west’s suicidal drive to impose a No-Fly over Syria has become clearer than ever. I believe the Turkish people are sensing the crucial role they are playing on behalf of all seven billion of us. Something big has stirred in the human psyche. Is it enough? Is it too late? Will it take hold to bring about a universal change in human consciousness? This next week may permanently decide many critical questions which we have been discussing for years. As the reality of Near Term Extinction sinks in, people are behaving differently. People are awakening. In a ham and eggs breakfast, the chicken is involved, but the pig is committed. And… starting tomorrow, for the first time in six years I am going to be away from my computer and all contact with the outside world. I am going to attend a Sun Dance in the Black Hills of South Dakota for five days. Who knows what things will look like when I get back. The way this has worked out, it feels as if spirit is saying, “You’ve done all the warning you could. Take a break.” Tonight, I’ll take a minute to share some “last thoughts” in case the house of cards collapses while I am away. Only on The Progressive Radio Network, prn.fm/
