On top of the Anniversary of Rock Stars Deaths like Curt Cobain & Layne Staley, Kathy Pape passed 1 year ago tonight at some point too which adds to the bittersweet flavor of this share..... 1460 Days & Nights ago I took my last Drink & Drug..... As I start my 5th year I take no special coin to remind me of the waste it all was or how close I came to be one of them so many times and of course couldve taken somebody with me time and time again.. I choose to do it this way as the first advisor I had irritatingly said to me, Chris! Focus on today because its the only one that you can do anything about! That was 1979...It took me a long time to WANT THIS! Of course this is a special night and milestone but doesnt make up or amends to anyone or for anything....Ive just strung 1460 single days (One Day At A Time) into a streak which doesnt make me a WINNER, Charlie Sheen.... It just makes me clean and sober... I owe a great deal of it to Yall of course. For that and sooooo many other things I am sincerely Grateful!
