Once Upon A Time in the LRCP Rolls of Labs Needing their Forever Home was a OGU Named Girly #140565. Those were her numbers on her mug shot. Well, Girly became Gabby while at her wonderful foster family because Hey Girly just was not working. Gabby #140565 made the move to The House of Q & C with the assistance of the bestest AC ever -- Pam Baker Hanbury who not only was her AC ... but happens to be a good friend of mom C, too. Fast forward ... Gabby settled in ... but the name Gabby just did not fit her personality At All. So -- we reached out to all of you. and What Wonderful Choices and Suggestions Were Made. However, in the end the agreement was -- the name with the most votes by all of you -- Wins Naming Rights (and I will be making a donation in all names suggested by all of you to LRCP later today). We Had A Tie -- yes ... a tie -- sooooo ... in the name of the finest of Best In Show Dog Names (where all dogs need at least 15 segments ... kind of like ordering a coffee from Starbucks) I bring you ..... Gracie Lizzy Pooka The Shedadogasaurus Woofus the First From The House of C & Q. (We will call her GracieLizPoo for short ... or Gracie), Many of you suggested Gracie as an honor to and in memory of a special Lab who once graced your home. We are honored to carry on the tradition in honor of all of you. (PS. She has a lot of the personality of the Gracie from the old Burns and Allen show .. she is a joker and a very happy girl ... she is the kind of lab you just want to call your friend) Xo and much
