Once a small gap appeared in a cocoon, through which a butterfly had to appear. A man, who happened to be passing by, stopped and watched how the butterfly was trying to get out of the cocoon. It took a lot of time, the butterfly was trying very hard, and the gap was very tiny and not getting any wider. It seemed that the butterfly was getting tired and would soon give up. Then the man decided to help the butterfly. He took a small knife and cut the cocoon. The butterfly immediately got out, but its body was weak and feeble, and the wings were barely moving. The man continued to watch the butterfly, thinking that now its wings would spread and it would fly. However, that did not happen. The rest of its life the butterfly had to drag its weak body and wings that would never spread. It was unable to fly, because the man who wanted to help it did not realize that the immense effort it would take to exit through the narrow gap of the cocoon was necessary for the butterfly...that the life-giving fluid would move from the butterflys body to its wings so it would be able to fly. Life forces the butterfly to leave the shell of its cocoon with great difficulty, so that it can gain strength and grow properly. If we were allowed to live our lives without meeting difficulties, we would never reach our potential. Life gives us challenges to make us stronger. 💖💝 I needed this today. Sometimes things get so hard...theres got to be a reason. #AmIStrongYet?
