Once a week I try to be mindful and ask you to pray for Sgt. Tamooressi. This is the time this week I will. I suspect, when his poll numbers drop enough the president will rouse himself and finally ask Mexico to give us this SGT back. That alone is dishonorable. So, too, is his being held in prison. If you have never stirred yourself to ever pick up a phone or pen and contact the WH and CONGRESS....well, young folks....now is the time. I cannot count the letters or calls I have made. Why do I do it? Because men and women like SGT Tamooressi FOUGHT for my freedom. I will keep writing. If you never have....shame be upon you. You go to work everyday or have a family you are close to. Someone else paid for your freedom. So, stir yourselves...rouse your easy comfortable spirits. Do something for freedom....... And message me if you do not know how. I end with a poem that was written on the blackboard in 1967 in LBJ High School in Johnson City, Tx. It was written by a retired Colonel....who had five Masters degrees. I was privileged to sit in his math classes for about 3-4 years. He wrote these words...
