Once again, Hayao Miyazaki, considered to be one of the greatest Japanese animators ever, dominates the Top 10 in this round of Top Renters from our Anime (Japanese Animation) section. The only titles not his are, The Secret World of Arrietty in 9th (the 2010 debut film from Hiromasa Yonebayashi), From Up on Poppy Hill in 4th (Miyazakis son, Goro Miyazakis 2nd film) and Tales from Earthsea in 6th (Goro Miyazakis debut). There are more Miyazaki films scattered throughout the Top 100 (mostly towards the beginning of the list) and, if you are a regular in the Anime section, odds are pretty good youve seen all of those already. But, scan through the list, there may be a few titles you havent seen yet. However, if you are new to the world of Anime, you might try a Miyazaki title (they are a great place to start) or go with the classic, Akira.
