Once again I ask...Where is the outrage from our elected leaders? Literally every section of the city is being severely effected by violent crime, 12 murders and shots fired on a regular basis! As I said countless times during the campaign, economic development will never take hold until public safety is first dealt with. More police on the street, better access to drug treatment for addicts and enforcement of current gun laws must be a priority. We dont need more laws, courts must enforce the laws we already have on the books. What is the plan to support this city? Mr. Mayor, City Councilors, State Officials...what is the plan? Put the casino aside for now, public safety is our number one priority.
