Once again, West Virginia shows just how poorly built their legal - TopicsExpress

Once again, West Virginia shows just how poorly built their legal and government infrastructure actually is. I just spent two hours ( I actually counted it using my phone call timer ) on hold with the Child Support Enforcement Bureau, a division of the state Department of Human Services. Two hours straight on hold. Over an hour yesterday. Both times occurred without ever speaking to a live person. Today, I was on hold for so long, that the office actually closed while I was on hold when I was finally number one in queue. Let that sink in. On hold for over two hours, finally get to number one in queue (after being twenty), and then they summarily close the queue and shut down the office, disconnecting my call. Very frustrated and we NEED to speak with them. Ugh. Looks like I am going to have to get up early in the morning again and spend another round of four to five hours on hold...just on hold...to MAYBE get someone. To those of my friends who live in West Virginia and put up with this daily, I am so sorry. Please, kick your government in the ass and make them get in line.
