Once again very proud of Fletch today! He came home with another merit award for Handwriting. On his 1/2 yearly report card at the end of last term, he got a D for handwriting. Fletch has struggled with this since before he was diagnosed (just as he was learning to write his name) His hands get very sore and tired quickly and he has really struggled with this. We did some work on it each day over the holidays and looks like its paying of! He is really pleased with himself, and excited that his teacher noticed the difference. We have discussed his handwriting several times and she told me she felt terrible giving a D on the report card because she knows how hard he tries and how difficult it is for him. Really going to miss this teacher! I have a meeting with her and the new one on Tuesday.
