Once again we call for a Commission of Inquiry to investigate - TopicsExpress

Once again we call for a Commission of Inquiry to investigate activities of the law firms in the Turks & Caicos Islands and what part they played, if any, in the decade long period of systemic corruption that has paralyzed life and effected almost every single resident of the islands in one way or another. We also call on the Chief Justice of the Turks & Caicos Islands to investigate the false statements that were presented to the court last November by an attorney for the British Caribbean Bank. We have seen evidence of this deceit and we are astonished that the Chief Justice has apparently so far failed to act appropriately given the clarity of the facts. We shall not provide specific details on this particular issue for now in order to allow all parties concerned further time to investigate the matter without the full glare of publicity. We are informed that the Chief Justice, the BCB and its attorney and the Bar Council of the Turks & Caicos Islands have all been notified of these serious complaints. We trust the Chief Justice will act accordingly in the immediate future and at the very least establish some form of an inquiry to include all relevant parties concerned. We all need to know why this attorney lied before the Chief Justice, whether on instructions from his client, the BCB, or was it perhaps an impulse predicated on a personal bias?
