Once upon a time. There was a little girl. She went to her uncles house and her uncle told her not to play in the forest but she didnt listen and got lost. As she was crying, a young man with a fox mask appears out of no where and asked her why she was crying. She was so happy that there was someone else in the forest beside her and ran to him. He moved out of her way and she feel to the ground. He told her that he is the spirit of the forest and that if human touch him, he will disappear. She didnt understand and thought it was a game and kept on trying to touch him until he hit her over the head with a stick. Then she finally believed him that he wasnt human because no human will hit a little girl like that. He help the lost little girl to the edge of the forest and the little girl said to him that she will be back tomorrow to see him. As she came out of the forest, her uncle hit her over the head for going into the forest. She cried and hugged her uncle. She asked her uncle about forest spirit and her uncle told her that he didnt know if they were real or not because he never seen them but there were other who saw strange things in the forest. The next day, the little girl went back and the forest spirit was waiting for her. They played many games and she met many different forest spirit. Each one warring him of her danger and each one warring her not to touch him. Every summer she would come to visit him and couldnt wait to visit him. As times pass, he realized that as she aged, he stayed the same age and that she will one day become older then him. One day as she was a teen, he told her that he wasnt really a forest spirit but was he human either. He was abandoned in the forest by his parents as a baby and the forest god put a spell on him to keep him alive. He then asked her to go to the forest spirit festival with him. He had always wanted to take her there but she was too young and he thought she might get scared. So during the night, she snuck out and went with him to the forest spirit festival with him. She saw many wonderful and strange things and they had lots of fun. As they were returning, a little boy tripped beside him and he grabbed the little boys arm, saying be careful. The little boy thanked him and quickly ran home. He looked at his hands as they started disappearing. She realized that he had just touched a human. He reached out his arms and said to her, I can touch you now. She jumped into his arms and hugged him as he disappear into nothingness leaving nothing but his cloths. The last words they shared with each others were, I love you. As she was crying, the other forest spirit thanked her. They told her that he has always wanted to be hugged by a human for a long time. From then on, she new that she probably wont be able to look forward to summer for a long time and her chest will hurt, her tears will overflow but the warmth in her hands and the summer memories will live on in her heart.
