Once upon a time, in 2009, then neophyte Senator Noynoy Aquino voted in favor of Senate Resolution 1356 which called for the termination of the VFA if the US refused to renegotiate its provisions. Later on as President in 2010, Aquino promised to review the VFA. Four years into his presidency, and like many of his promises, still no results. Where is the review that he promised? A Filipino was killed and she likely wont be the last. Aquino seems more interested in field trips on US aircraft carriers than in upholding national sovereignty.
