Once we rented a car at Rent Car in Lefkos. We wanted to see the island together with our youngest son and his wife. We thought to go up to Olympos in the north. But it was with the idea, the road trip stopped at Spoa. With my extreme fear of heights, I had never survived the trip. I had guaranteed received cardiac arrest and could be a great danger to my fellow passengers. He he. We turned and put our noses, direction Pigadia. Small steep roads without guardrails are normally not my cup of tea. But I did not want to show my daughter in law what a coward her father in law was. We drove the east side of the island, and I had to sit on the right side, because I had fainted if I had seen the distance down to the sea. On some stretches and bends I felt the color in my face changed between, brown, red, green, white and pink. Once I had played The Pink Panther in a sketch with great success. Tried to show that I was not afraid, but I closed my eyes several times. When we passed straight over Apella they shouted loud;” Look Knut, what an amazing view and beach”. I looked carefully up and puked;” Oh yes very beautiful”. Once we were driving at the Spanish Island Lanzarote. Suddenly I opened the door in speed and jumped out the car. I’m not a Superman, but I can’t stand altitudes higher than my favorite chair..ha ha
