One church ministry team was under direct threats and could not - TopicsExpress

One church ministry team was under direct threats and could not leave their city for 50 days. The leader of this team said that the turmoil proved to be a turning point and they decided to spend the time fasting and praying. They spent seven weeks interceding before the Lord and crying out for peace in Egypt. “Whatever we did as a team after that, we saw tremendous response,” the leader explained. Whether it was Bible study groups, youth events, women’s ministry, literacy training, spiritual comfort and trauma counseling, or desperately needed economic assistance, he said, “God’s hands were moving in the lives of people, giving them his amazing peace in the midst of pain. It’s a real time of harvest!” Praise God for this fruit and let’s pray for political and economic stability to be restored and strength for our brothers and sisters as they reach out to others. bit.ly/1kB06et
