One cool dog. On the list for tomorrow: DAVINCI (Brooklyn Center) is on the list tonight, and will be put down if not reserved online by noon tomorrow. This stinks. Deep inside this stunning gentleman beats the wild and beautiful heart of a trail dog, a little fox, a devoted shepherd. Maybe there is something of the stray reflected in those golden eyes, or maybe hes just looking for some decent couch time. But Davincis a very laid-back, calm dog, even while being surrounded by barking dogs. He was relaxed and playful when he was brought in, and he has quickly become a volunteer favorite, sitting and giving a paw when asked. His loyalty deserves to be rewarded. Wed like to say its a slam-dunk that Davinci, with those eyes and good behavior, will make it home for Christmas, but as you know nothing in the shelter is a given. Well stay with him until he leaves. Davinci is at the Brooklyn shelter, and came in as a stray from the streets of New York. He is available for direct adoption, and that means you can go to the shelter in person and ask to meet him.
