One day I will tell my stories through writing. Thanks to two of my friends Kate Wambui Ngara and Julia Mwai who keeps reminding me of my almost extinct gift -well life happened -is my excuse:( In person Im the most shy,most timid and most boring person on the face of this earth ,funny right?? most people expect me to be this bubbly, funny,talking machine but Im the most expressive person behind a pen and paper that is where I bare my heart and soul. Ever since I was a little girl growing up in the sloppy tiny quiet village somewhere in central Kenya I knew that my passion was writing. Every Friday Id eagerly wait for my dad who worked in the big city to come home as he brought with him newspapers which I would read page to page seeking inspiration for my writing. Dont want to blow my own trumpet but those who have at one time been my classmates either in primary or high school can attest to the fact that my compositions were out of this world. As my favourite author Paulo Coelho says dreamers can never be tamed he himself wrote his first book at the age of 40 and went ahead to be the most successful most influential writer of all times. One day I will tell my stories through writing.
