One day as I was meditating about the under clothing that we all wear, my mind was opened to a greater understanding of where it all came from. From the beginning of times, back in the days of paradise, Adam and Eve after eating from the tree of knowledge of good and evil, they found that they were naked and hid from the Lord, then the Lord clothed their nakedness. Genesis 3:9-10, 21 9 And the Lord God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou? 10 And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself. 21 Unto Adam also and to his wife did the Lord God make coats of skins, and clothed them. Why then we wear under garments? Because it was given to us by God. Men from time to time has created many styles of these sacred clothing and have become so common to use that it has lost its real intent and purpose, that is to remember that God clothed us since the beginnings of time, and to remind us that there is a Supreme Lord that has always protected us even from the nakedness of our bodies. Many denominations of religion have embraced sacred forms of religious vestments full of symbolism for worship.
