One dies, 23 hurt in road accidents Srinagar, Nov 2: One person died while 23 others were injured in different road accidents across the valley, police said today. 14 people were injured when a Sumo skidded off the road near Fijipora in Khan Sahib area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district. All the injured were shifted to a hospital for treatment, however, Abdul Gani Khan succumbed to his injuries at SKIMS Soura, a police spokesman said. A private car hit and injured Hafeeza wife of Majid Hussain resident of Bohipora at Regipora Bridge in frontier district of Kupwara. She was shifted to Sub District Hospital, Kupwara for treatment. A passenger bus travelling from Srinagar to Kupwara met with an accident at Bumhama, resulting in injuries to eight persons. All the injured were shifted to Sub District Hospital, Kupwara for treatment. A car met with an accident near Chinner Kangan, resulting in injuries to Javid Ahmad Khan, resident of Mahoor, Reasi. The injured was shifted to SKIMS Soura, Srinagar for treatment. #Muneer
