So dad has been admitted for the night. All of his lab work came back perfect, the doctor of course did the cognition tests in a rare moment of lucidity and has no medical reason to keep him, it was more or less a favor to the family since we were having such a hard time. She is sending him for a brain scan in the morning and warned us that the twit covering for his family doctor will in all likelihood send him home tomorrow. So we are going to try going to the patient advocacy group (didnt even know we had one) or, as a couple of people have suggested, protective services, if the hospital wont help. So, at least for tonight, he is being taken care of by what seems to be a competent doctor at the General. Im going to catch a few zs, if I can and start in on this new, bureaucratic, red-tape fueled shit storm in the morning. Ill keep everyone updated. Also, thank you all so much for the PMs and messages of support, it means the world to me that so many care about mom, dad and the welfare of my family
