One easy tip for encouraging a lazy kitty to become more active is by making them hunt for their food. This can be accomplished in 3 ways. Small amounts of food can be hidden all over the house. If this is too time consuming, just toss a handful of dry kibble. Their dish can be placed at the top of a tall cat tree, so they have to climb every time they want to eat. Half of their daily food allocation can be placed in a puzzle feeder. These are also great tips for decreasing boredom!
